Day 1 - Beijing to Shanghai

• Meet The Group at Beijing South Railway Station to board the night train to Shanghai.
• Once on the train, have a welcome and safety briefing, and then have a free optional mandarin lesson.

Day 2 - Shanghai  
Arrive in Shanghai for a day of activities. You can join us for free guided tour of The Bund and then join a mini version of Shanghai’s Amazing Race.
Other optional activities include going up Asia’s tallest tower or the Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower for a bird’s eye viewof Shanghai, visiting the history exhibition hall to trace the development of China(135rmb), paragliding just outside Shanghai(500rmb), seeing Shanghai’s burlesque show “China Town” (150rmb) and China’s largest bar crawl – The Drunken Dragon (100rmb).

Day 3 - Shangahi to Guilin
Another day of free activities in Shanghai. You can join us for a guided tour of the French Concession to explore more about Shanghai’s history or visit Shanghai’s Art District, Moganshan Road.

Optional activities include Go-Karting(70rmb) or a Chinese cooking class, which includes buying ingredients in one of Shanghai’s massive food markets (100rmb).

Day 4 - Guilin
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon and evening in beautiful Guilin, sampling the local ‘beer fish’.You can wander inside the Seven Star Park (35rmb) to see Pandas and visit a massive cave complex.

Day 5 to Day 8 - Yangshuo  to Chongqing
Cruise down the Lijiang River on bamboo rafts through China’s stunning karst scenery and arrive in Yangshuo.
We offer free guided bicycle tours and motorbike tours to experience the beautiful countryside scenery, as well as a visit to a Qing dynasty house and entry to our beer pong tournament in the evening.

Optional activities in Yangshuo include visiting mud-baths in underground caves (60rmb), rock climbing in one of the world’s most renowned climbing areas (150rmb), sampling snake liquor in the various roof top bars, watching farmers use birds to catch fish for them (40rmb), watching a spectacular night show directed by the same Chinese director who created the Beijing opening ceremony (198rmb), a foot massage by a blind masseuse (40rmb) or the Hollywood craze of cupping (suction cups on the back to withdraw impurities, the Chinese had it first!) (20rmb) &white-water rafting (130rmb).

Take the night train to Chongqing.

Day 9 - Chongqing   
Explore the Ciqikou Ancient Town by yourself in the morning and in the afternoon we’ll take you to a pandareserve (30rmb).Later, sample some real Chinese entertainment witha karaoke evening (60rmb).

Day 10 - Chongqing to Xi'an  
Visit the Three Gorges Museum to get an overview of the biggest Dam in the world. You also can explore the city center’s Liberation Monument. We can take you to try the infamous Sichuan Hotpot (55rmb) and give you a beautiful night view over the Yangzi River by cable car.

Take the night Train to Xi’an.

Day 11 - Xi'an  
Visit the Terracotta Warriors, a Wonder of the Ancient World.
The legendary Xi’an bar crawl in the evening (30rmb).

Day 12 - Xi'an  

• Lunch and city tour in the afternoon by bike.
• Help Xi’an’s homeless people at a soup kitchen or watch a movie in the hostel.

Day 13 - QingLing Mountains

• After breakfast take a minibus deep into the heart of The QingLing mountains.
• Stop for tubing and sunbathing by a river.
• Arrive at a peasant mountain farm.
• Hike in the mountains behind the farm to 6 waterfalls.
• Have dinner on the farm, with ingredients all from them farm, followed by an evening drinking Hans, the local beer, under the stars.

Day 14 -  Xi’an

• Return to Xi’an.
• Fast train to Longmen station.
• Bus to Dengfeng.
• Visit an orphanage and help the children practice their English.

Day 15 - Xi'an to Bejing
Shaolin Kungfu is famous in China and throughout the world. The Dragon Trip is the only company to giveyou access to a lesson inside the actual Shaolin monastery with a Chinese Kungfu Master(150rmb).

Day 16 - Beijing
Free activities in Beijing include visiting Tiananmen Square for flag raising, seeing Chairman Mao’s embalmed body and a guided Hutong (ancient narrow street) tour.
Optional activities include visiting the Forbidden City (60rmb) and the Temple ofHeaven (35rmb),checking out Beijing’s underground bars which play host to an up and coming music sceneand eating Beijing Roast Duck Pancakes.

You can join us to visit the latest addition to Beijing’s iconic landmarks – the “Bird’s Nest Stadium”, the main venue for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Day 17 - Great Wall
Head out of Beijing for a hike and camp on a private part of the Great Wall, allowing you to enjoy an unforgettable sunrise over The Wall.

Day 18 - End of Tour   
Return to Beijing to end the tour with one final night out with the group.
